Kothimbir vadi/ Coriander Cutlets |

Tasty and nutritious, the whole family will love them.

Serves 4 persons
Ingredients
4 cups green coriander (chopped)
11/2 cups besan
1/2 cup rice flour
1 tsp til/ sesame seeds
1-2 tsp red chilli powder
1-2 teaspoons salt
¼ tsp haldi
2-3 cups oil for frying.
Grind- 4-5 green chillies,
Pinch of hing
Pinch of soda bicarbonte
1-2 tsp jaggery/ sugar
Method
1) Mix besan,rice flour, salt, ground chillies,til,soda,jaggery,haldi, coriander & 2tbsp oil, add some water if needed to make a dough. Divide the dough into 2-3 parts.
2) Shape the dough into long rolls. Place them on a greased plate.
3) Steam the rolls for 10 minutes. Keep them aside to cool.
4) Cut into 1/2 inch slices and deep-fry the vadis till they are light golden brown in colour & crisp or shallow fry them in a pan..
5)Ready to serve Kothimbir Vadi.
