Whole Moong
- Green gram

Moong dal  -  Split (skinless) green gram

Whole Urad -  Black gram

Urad dal -  Split (skinless) black gram

Masoor -  Red lentils

Toor -  Pigeon peas

Kabuli chana/ Chole - Chick peas. They are soaked in water for 10-12 hours, then cooked with special chole masala and served with Bhatura. This is a favorite dish of North India and now popular all over.
