This dish can be served with bread and tomato ketchup.
Ingredients
2 cups Besan
¼ cup Rice flour
2 ½ - 3 cups water
1 teaspoon ova
1 teaspoon Red Chilly powder
A small pinch of soda or (Fruit Salt) or baking powder
2 tablespoons oil (hot)
Oil for frying
Onion Or Potato Or Bringal Or Leaves of ova or spinach or ripe slices of banana.
Salt as per taste
Method
1) Peel & chop thin round slices of potato.
2) Mix Besan, rice flour, red chilly powder, salt, soda, ova and hot oil.
3) Add water, as needed, into the Mixture and make fine sauce -consistency paste. Make sure there are no lumps in the paste.
4) Dip 5-6 slices of vegetables into the paste.
5) Take oil in a pan for frying, & deep fry 5-6 pakodas at a time till they turn golden on medium heat.
6) Repeat the process till all the paste is used. Serve hot.
