Raw Mango Drink/ Kairi Panha |

A great way to cool off in the hot summer.
Servings: 5-6 glasses
Ingredients
1- raw mango
1.1/2 cup/125 gm -sugar/grated jaggery
1 tsp -salt
1 tsp -cardmom powder
A few saffron strands(optional)
Method
1) Pressure cook the raw mango for upto 3 whistles. Keep aside to cool.
2) Sqeeze out the pulp and remove the skin & seed.
3) Blend 1/2 cup kairi pulp, sugar/jaggery, salt, cardmom powder and saffron.(You may choose to store this mixture as is in the fridge. It can be stored for upto 15 days.)
4) Before serving, add 1 litre of water to the above mixture and shake/stir. Add ice cubes and serve cold.
