Ingredients
1/2 cup grated gud
1/4 cup tamarind(wash and soak in warm water for 1/2 an hour)
1/2 cup dry-roast sesame seeds powder/til kut
1/2 dry-roast peanutspowder/shengadanya che kut
1/2 cup fresh coconuts pieces/chips
1/2 peanuts(wash,soak in warm water for 1/2 an hour)
1/4 cup green chilli pieces
1/2 tsp fenugreek seeds/methi dane
1/2 tsp hing powder
1/2 tsp rai/mustard seeds
1/2 tsp haldi powder
salt as per taste
2-3 tbsp oil
method
1) Peel the soaked peanuts.
2) Heat oil in a kadai, fry coconut chips and peanuts one by one, and keep aside.
3) Add rai & methi dane into remaining hot oil , when rai splutter add hing,haldi and green chilli pieces.
4) Add tamarind pulp(squeeze soaked tamrind) and its water,add 1/2 cup plain water.
5) Add til kut.shengadanya ch kut, fried coconut chips & peanuts.
6) When the mixture started boiling, add gud and salt, boil for 2 minutes.
7) Serve with chapati,rice.
