Ingredients
1 Kg Khava/Khoya/Mawa
1/4 Kg Sugar
1 tsp Kesar or 1 tsp Velachi Powder
8-10 Almonds
8-10 Pistachio Nuts Method 1) Slice almonds and pistachio nuts and keep aside. Crumble Khava/mawa into fine granules.
2) Roast khava/Mawa for 3/4 minutes in a thick bottom kadai, on low heat.
3) Add sugar and stir and cook continuously till it thickens. Add kesar-velachi and half silces of almond-pistachio nuts.
4) Remove from heat and spread in a plate and knead the mixture till it is thick and firm.
5) Divide the mixture into equal balls.
6) Garnish each ball with slices of almond and pistachio nuts and shape them into pedhas.
