Very nutritious, a recipe for the health conscious.
Serves 2-3 people
Ingredients
1cup Thalipithachi Bhajani
1/4 cup (sour) Buttermilk
3/4 or 1 cup Water
1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
1/2 tsp Sugar
1 tsp Salt or as per taste
1/2 cup finely chopped Onion
4-5 Curry Leaves
1/2 cup finely chopped fresh Coriander Leaves
2 tbsp Scraped fresh Coconut
2 tbsp Oil
For Tadka Rai, Hing, Haldi
Method
1) Mix Thalipithachi Bhajani, buttermilk, water,salt,sugar,chilli powder,half coconut-coriander.
2) Heat oil, make tadka, add curry leaves & onion and saute until light golden bown.
3) Add mixture of bhajani, mix well & steam for 4-5 minutes.
4) Garnish with remaining coriander & coconut.
5) Serve hot with spoonful pure ghee.
