Cluster Beans/Gawari chi Bhaji |

ClusterBeans /Gawar must be young and tender, not woody and fibrous.
For 3-4 people
Ingredients
250 gms-- Cluster Beans/ Gawari cha Shenga
4 medium-sized Potatos(Peeled & cut into Cubes)
1 medium-sized Onion(Chopped)
2 tbsp Oil
1/4 tsp Mustard seeds,1/4 tsp Hing, 1/4 tsp Haldi
1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
1 tsp Kala Goda Masala
1/4 tsp Ajwain
1 tbsp grated Gud
Salt as per taste
1 cup warm water
2 tbsp fresh Coconut(Scraped)
2 tbsp fresh Green Coriander(Chopped)
Method
1) Pluck top & tail & string the beans/sheng then chop into small pieces (1/2 inch to 3/4 inch size)
2) Heat oil in a patila, add mustard seeds, when they start to splutter, add hing, haldi, ajwain, and chopped onion
3) When onion turns translucent, add the potatoes cubes and chopped gawar. Cover and cook on a low flame for 3-4 minutes
4) Remove the lid and add goda masala, chilli powder. Stir-fry for 2 minutes, add 1-cup warm water and cover it again. Let it cook till the sheng is done, then add gud, salt, coconut, and coriander. Simmer for 3-4 minutes
5) Serve hot with Dal-Rice(Varan-Bhat) or Dahi-Bhat(Curd-Rice)or Chapati
