Zunaka- Bhakari is a common food combination in Maharastra State.
Quantity for 4 persons
Ingredients
1/2 kg onion- finely chopped
1.1/2 cups Besan
2 tsp red chilli powder or as per taste
Salt as per taste
1/2 cup oil
1/2 tsp Rai
1/2 tsp Haldi powder
2 tbsp chopped fresh green coriander
Method
1) Heat oil in a Kadai, add rai,when it starts to crackle, add haldi & chopped onion,& saute.
2) When onion turns translucent, add red chilli powder & salt & mix well.
3) Lower the heat, add besan, mix it & cover the pan. Stir 2-3 times.
4) Cook it, on low heat for 5 minutes or till besan is well done.
5) Serve with Bhakari or chapati
