Sangeeta Says >> Hello, I'm Sangeeta. My opinion is a little biased.. coz unlike Amita who anyways loves eating , I'm not such a major foodie.. I do not like eating out very much but prefer home cooked hot meals anyday..and my mommy comes out tops in that department.. She was a very enthusiatic cook.. she would make lavish breakfasts and sumptuous dinners...have no idea where she got all the energy from!
More importantly I think, was her zeal to constantly learn and experiment. She is a strict vegetarian .. but she would cook up lovely non veg food (vouched for by die hard non veggies!) without ever tasting it! She would pinch her nose and go to the fish markets ..she would chat with the vendors and learn all about the diff types of fish and how to devien prawns and what not! I am happy that she has agreed to write for us and allow the world to peek into her domain! Thanks mom!

Amita Says >> Hi, I'm Amita. I'm sure many of you love everything your mommy dishes out or used to! Well, I sure do!! I think she is a fantastic cook.. Not just because she can make so many difficult (well they seem so to me at any rate!) preparations so well, but well because she can make ordinary dishes turn out simply amazing!
I have so many friends who won't eat half the veggies made at their homes but love those very veggies the way mommy makes them.. its this special knack that she has of making things like White Gourd and Baingan yummylicious that I love..
