We are happy to announce the launch of FretaFoods. Through this brand, we have introduced a variety of fresh fresh fruit spreads.
Why fruit spreads? Well, it all started because we were tired of the
synthetic jams that are the only ones available. So we thought, can't we
have something that is natural, fresh and tasty to boot. So mom started
making these yummy fresh fruit spreads which contain nothing but fruit
and sugar as well as lemon juice in many cases unless the fruit is
basically sour. And we loved them.
Mom manages to bring out the beautiful natural colours of the fruits by
cooking them just right. Her spreads contain no colours, no
preservatives , in fact nothing apart from the stated ingredients. What
makes them even more delightful is that they are completely seasonal and
hence guaranteed fresh. We have already sold hundreds of bottles and we
hope to have lots of people licking their fingers in delight.
These are varieties that have been made in 200ml and 350ml sizes. Prices
range from Rs 60 for the small size to Rs 110 for the bigger bottle.

The one summer fruit which is on everyone's list of favourites is Mangoes! Raw Mangoes are green and very sour and can be transformed into (slurp..) Panha - a deliciously cool beverage! They can also be cooked in interesting ways to create accompaniments to your meal. Ripe luscious mangoes are sweet and can be had as they are.. or converted into yummy desserts. So enjoy trying out these summer specials and be sure to let us know how you liked them. |
